Alexandra Liss

Born and raised in San Francisco, living in London and Manhattan in between coming back to the bay, Alexandra has been following her passion for Entrepreneurship through Media. Ever since Alexandra could pick up a camera - which was quite a feat in the 80's if you've seen the gargantuan hunks of machinery they would call "Videocameras" - she wanted to document the world and inspire it to be a better place. In a world where moments are fleeting and constantly re-written by our subjective memories, video can be the purest form of telling a story while allowing people to open their perspective and walk in each other's shoes. Alexandra began her career with KRON Channel 4 Morning News Team, and has worked with CurrenTV and BBN3 as a Video Journalist.

She has worked with Google on the Glass Team, Intel, UC Berkeley, and with some of the most famous entrepreneurs on the planet. You can see her work on Award Winning Productions, such as her work as Director of Photography Work in Revenge of the Electric Car  and Assistant Editor in 'May I Be Frank'.

In 2011, Alexandra Directed and starred in the first full-length feature ever the document CouchSurfing and the new Sharing Economy, shot through 6 continents SE Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, South American and ending at Burning Man. You can see her film at One Couch at a Time. She also co-authored a How-To Practical Guide on the Sharing Economy, and is one of the forefront expert consultants on successful Crowdfunding campaigns.

She is CEO of BrandBAR and is passionate in supporting Socially Minded endeavors.
